The reminder sounded like debt collection wearing perfume
It said ‘friendly reminder’ twice and ‘kindly’ three times. I would have paid just to make the email stop talking.
I let the AI write too much. The result was technically polite and completely inhuman.
I cut every template down to three lines: what this is about, what needs to happen and one easy way to reply. The silence between sentences helps.
